The Willkommen Committee recently visited Oak Hills Living Center to celebrate and welcome their new Operations Manager, Isabelle “Izzy” Wittbrodt.
Originally from the Elbow Lake/Fergus Falls area, Izzy started working in long-term care at age 16. She became a CNA and fell in love. Although she originally went to college to be a high school teacher, she switched paths to become a healthcare administrator instead. When her grandfather passed away over a year ago, she moved in with her grandmother in Morgan and started working as an unpaid intern at Oak Hills. She will officially graduate in May and take over the day-to-day operations.
Oak Hills Administrator, Candas Schouvieller, saw that Izzy fit right in during her internship noting that she dove into research, took extensive notes, got involved, and took ownership of her duties, and she is very excited that Izzy will be joining the team after her internship is over. This will allow Candas to focus on ‘big picture’ items, such as upcoming renovations, potential expansions, and making sure that Oak Hills stays strong, solid, and here in New Ulm for many years to come.
Oak Hills Living Center is located at 1314 8th St N, and if you’re interested in learning more, you can contact them at 507-233-0800 or oakhillsnewulm.com. Congratulations and welcome to Izzy Wittbrodt!
