The Willkommen Committee recently held a ribbon cutting at Ulm Sweet Ulm to celebrate their new business. Ulm Sweet Ulm is a community space that partners with other businesses to offer a variety of services to their customers.
Lykke Books is housed inside with many books for sale as well as quiet spaces for readers to enjoy. Lykke Communities is a non-profit partner through which they apply for grants to support their programs. Gutes Essen and Crush 80/20 have a selection of their food and drinks available. There is a space available to rent for private or corporate events. Ulm Sweet Ulm owner and founder Brie Taralson sees this as a dream come true, being able to offer a safe and inclusive space for multi-generational interactions. They also sell sheet music, offer lessons and youth programming. Ulm Sweet Ulm, located at 203 N Minnesota St, is open M-F 8:30a-7p, and Sat/Sun from 9a-6p. Brie and her Event Manager Ginny Walters have plans to add more in terms of programming and services, as well as bike maintenance and rentals.
