Loyalty Punch Card Program
The Farmers Market Committee is excited to introduce a Loyalty Punch Card Program for the 2025 season! Get rewarded for shopping local all summer long! The prize? Products, gift certificates, and items donated by your 2025 Farmers Market vendors!
Here’s how it works:
- Shoppers can pick up a punch card at the Market Manager booth, or at one of our Steering Committee Members’ booths (Guldan Family Farm, Sugar Shanty, Woof ’em Down Bakery).
- Each time they attend the market, they’ll receive one stamp—no purchase necessary.
- Once they collect 20 stamps, they’ll be entered into a grand prize drawing at the end of the season!
Dogs
Only service animals are allowed. There are two issues with dogs (and pets) at the farmers’ markets: one is food safety; the other is personal safety.

ATM
Many of our vendors accept credit card, venmo, and cash, but there is an ATM adjacent to the market area in the Bank Midwest drive-through. People are welcome to walk up to the ATM to make cash withdrawals.
SNAP/EBT
The New Ulm Farmers Market accepts SNAP/EBT, and shoppers can triple their dollars with Market Bucks and Produce Market Bucks. How it works:

Please note that the Produce Bucks (used for fruits & vegetables) will expire early this year. You’ll need to use them by August 31, 2025.
SUN Bucks
SUN Bucks (previously known as Summer EBT) provides families with $120 per eligible school-aged child to help buy groceries during the summer months—when free school meals are unavailable and many households need extra help putting food on the table.
SUN Bucks can be spent anywhere SNAP dollars are spent — including farmers markets, mobile markets, and with direct marketing farmers. As of right now, SUN Bucks are not eligible for the Market Bucks match. Check https://dcyf.mn.gov/sun-bucks for program updates.
FMNP/WIC
The following FMNP authorized vendors sell at the New Ulm Farmers Markets: Guldan Family Farm, Platz Farm, and Schlei Pickles and Produce.
