The Willkommen Committee recently welcomed B the Light’s new Executive Director Laura Doyen. 

Laura is the first official full time employee of B the Light.  She has experience as a legal assistant but wanted to find a job with heart.  She had volunteered through B the Light previously and even co-chaired the B the Light Gala last year.  When the board decided to hire a full-time director, she knew it was the right position for her. 

B the Light is an organization that helps breast cancer survivors in the New Ulm and Mankato area through a variety of different programs.  With 30 women in the New Ulm area diagnosed each year, they have a large population to serve and they want to get the word out about the many ways they help.
