The Willkommen Committee would like to welcome Americold Logistics as a new member of the New Ulm Area Chamber of Commerce. 

General Manager Dan Richards, who has been with the company for 33 years, moved to the New Ulm location about 14 years ago. Since that time, the company has more than doubled in size. They offer temperature-controlled storage services for companies for anything from dairy to meat and can offer ambient and aging rooms. Americold has 200 sites all across the United States, eight of which are in Minnesota. 

At the New Ulm site, they have eight buildings and 15 employees throughout their two addresses.  Recently, they have undergone remodeling with an added maintenance shop, expanded break room, remodeled bathrooms, and adding LED/motion sensor lighting in their storage rooms.  They are looking to continue updating and expanding in the future as well.
