Willkommen: New Member – Rising Hope Counseling
Willkommen Committee welcomes new member Rising Hope Counseling.

Congratulations to a great new business that opened recently in New Ulm: Rising Hope Counseling! The Willkommen Committee stopped by to celebrate a ribbon cutting and to welcome them as new members of the New Ulm Area Chamber of Commerce.

Rising Hope was started in South Dakota in 2013 by Jill Janecke, but when counselor Alicia Meinzer approached Jill about wanting to move back to her hometown of New Ulm, Jill decided to expand into a new state.  A sixth-generation New Ulm native, Alicia attended the University of South Dakota earning her Bachelors and Masters of Social work.  She is fully licensed and enjoys working with all kinds of people, especially middle school-age children whom she’s had a lot of experience with.  Alicia is currently the only Rising Hope care provider in New Ulm, although the company does offer tele-health options as well.
