New Member: Lykke Books

Congratulations to a new business opening in New Ulm – Lykke Books. The Willkommen Committee welcomed them as new members of the New Ulm Area Chamber of Commerce. Brie Taralson started this company, which will be partnering with Sweet Haven Tonics to offer pop-up shops three days a week during the month of November. The vision for Lykke Books, once they are in their permanent location, is to be an independent bookstore that also functions as a “Third Space” or a community hub where people can gather outside of home and work that highlights local authors, poets, artists, and artisans. Lykke Books donates a portion of its net profits to its sister non-profit organization, Lykke Communities, to fund programming for area youth.
