New Member: ProMusica Minnesota

The Willkommen Committee recently welcomed ProMusica Minnesota as a new member of the New Ulm Area Chamber of Commerce. Summit Avenue Music Series was established in 2016 by Artistic Director Bethel Balge to bring performances by professional musicians to the campus of Martin Luther College.  Recognizing an available niche, Bethel and Co-Artistic Director Peter McGire established ProMusica Chamber Music Festival in 2019 with the goal of producing a unique week-long summer chamber music festival for the community of southern Minnesota.  In 2020, the two organizations merged to become ProMusica Minnesota. ProMusica Minnesota performs classical and chamber music with 3-4 musicians throughout southern Minnesota.  Some of the featured artists include pianist Bethel Balge, violinist Peter McGire, Jenni Seo and Susie Park, cellists Silver Ainomae and Tony Ross, principal trumpet Manny Laureano and Gabriel Campos Zamora, Soprano’s Jenny Haugen and Heather Hjelle.  For more information on their upcoming performances, please visit promusicamn.com or call 507-205-2249.
