United Way Has New Location

The Willkommen Committee of the New Ulm Area Chamber of Commerce recently welcomed the United Way of the Brown County Area at its new location.  The United Way has moved offices to 108 N Minnesota Street in downtown New Ulm.  Executive Director Sandra Juni finds the new space exciting and is thrilled about the move.  This year marks the 75th anniversary of the United Way of the Brown County Area, and there’s not a better way to mark the occasion than by supporting their causes.  One of Sandra’s goals this year is to get a head start helping families get their kids’ backpacks filled for school.  It takes a great deal of money and volunteers to fill a backpack, but there are many families in our area who struggle to be able to purchase school supplies, and United Way and their supporters want to help alleviate this issue. To learn more about donating to the Backpack Project or other United Way programs, visit their website at www.unitedwaybrowncountyarea.org or call 507-354-6512.
