New Member – High School In The USA
High School In The USA

The New Ulm Area Chamber of Commerce would like to welcome High School in the USA as a new member.  “Be the change you want to see in the world” – Mahatma Gandhi.  This is the philosophy that Angela Goetz lives by as she runs High School in the USA here in New Ulm and matches students from all over the world with volunteer host families within 150 miles of New Ulm.  A New Ulm native, Angela returned to her hometown five years ago after living in Fairmont and Colorado for a time and has been with the company for a year.  Her passion started in high school when her family hosted a student from Germany. Angela has been working in the exchange student business for 13 years, has hosted 22 students herself, and represented over 130.  The program brings in about 100 students a year, and they currently have 40 waiting for homes!  If you want to learn more about High School in the USA or would like to host a student for either a semester or an entire school year, visit www.highschoolintheusa.com or call (970) 405-7342.
