The Willkommen Committee of the New Ulm Area Chamber of Commerce would like to welcome Grant Gibbons as the new Publisher for The Journal.  Grant, a native of Albany, Wisconsin, worked as a Regional Circulation Manager for The Fort Dodge Messenger in Iowa since 2000, before accepting the position of Publisher for the The Journal in New Ulm and The Independent in Marshall.  Grant looks forward to meeting people in the community, and learning more about the history of New Ulm and the surrounding area.  Grant seeks to hire a few more staff, along with completing some minor renovations to the building’s interior office spaces, located at 303 N Minnesota Street.
