The Willkommen Committee of the New Ulm Area Chamber of Commerce would like to welcome the new Director at The Grand Center for Arts & Culture, Laurel Stinson.  Laurel has a background in arts, graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a degree in Theater.  She worked in Madison and New York City, before moving back to Minnesota, where she worked in several community theaters, before accepting the executive director position at The Grand.  The Grand offers music on Friday nights at the Kabaret, a Cellar Press for old fashion printing, and the 4 Pillars Art Gallery, which hosts about ten exhibits a year across all mediums.  Arts and education classes are also held for both children and adults, ranging from painting to photography.  The Grand is located in downtown New Ulm at 210 N Minnesota Street.  For more information, please visit thegrandnewulm.org or call 507-359-9222.
