New Member: CPR & First Aid Training by Deb Huhn
Deb Huhn

The Willkommen Committee of the New Ulm Area Chamber of Commerce recently welcomed CPR & First Aid by Debra Huhn as a new member.  Deb has been an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), since 1986 and has been teaching CPR & First Aid since 1988.  She has served on 2 ambulance departments, and dispatched for the New Ulm Police Department from 1994 to 2021.   Debra now teaches Adult, Child, and Infant CPR & First Aid to businesses, daycare centers, and the community at large.  She holds classes every month at the Comfort Inn in Mankato and Carl’s Corner in downtown Essig, and also offers on-site training to any business or organization.  If someone can’t physically do CPR, Deb says that at least they can tell others how, and that could save a life. Participants are also taught how to use a defibrillator, which, if used in conjunction with CPR following cardiac arrest, increases chances of survival to 74%.  For more information, contact Deb at 507-359-4127 or email at Debh447@yahoo.com.
