The New Ulm Area Chamber of Commerce is now accepting applications for the 2023 Business of the Year and Tourism Person of the Year! Winners for both awards will be recognized at the Chamber Annual Meeting on January 26th, 2023.
Business of the Year
Since 1974, the New Ulm Area Chamber of Commerce has recognized a business in the New Ulm Area for their Chamber involvement, community involvement and economic impact in the area. This year, two businesses will be recognized: one large and one small. The Chamber is asking the community to nominate a worthy business.
Nomination forms are being accepted through December 14th. Of the nominees, the Chamber board will select three finalists in each category: large business (more than 30 employees) and small business (30 or less employees). Voting will take place at the Chamber Annual Meeting, which will be held on January 26, 2023. Each chamber member business will receive one ballot. Tourism Person of the Year
The New Ulm Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB), a part of the New Ulm Area Chamber of Commerce, is now accepting applications for the New Ulm Tourism Person of the Year award. This annual award is designed to honor an individual, couple or organization who have made a significant and long-term contribution to the economic health of New Ulm through their involvement in the field of tourism by attracting travelers to visit and explore New Ulm.
Nominations are accepted through December 20, and will be reviewed by the CVB Committee. The winner will be recognized at the Chamber of Commerce Annual Meeting, which will take place on Thursday, January 26th. Nomination Forms for Tourism Person of the Year can be found here.
