The Willkommen Committee of the New Ulm Area Chamber of Commerce recently visited the Ivy House to welcome Trisha Homan as new Executive Director. Trisha explained that the Ivy House is a Christian-based organization that provides a safe and caring place for kids to stay. Trisha stated she is excited to reach out to communities in need, and shared her eye-opening experience working with this organization. The Ivy House can take up to six children at a time, and helps kids ages 0-12 years old and offers 24-hour care and material support for children and families in stressful situations. Ivy House participates in three different programs: a childcare program, a family advocate program, and a clothing and essential needs program. The organization is currently accepting donations!
