The Chamber Welcomes Kraft-Heinz as New Members!

The Willkommen Committee recently visited Kraft-Heinz to welcome them as members of the New Ulm Area Chamber of Commerce, and to recognize new management. Darrin Buegler has been in his role as Plant Manager for almost a year. Though the role is new, his time and experience with Kraft-Heinz is not. Darrin has worked there for 28 years, most recently as Production Manager. Ann Schotzko is the Human Resources Business Partner, and she’s been in this role with Kraft-Heinz since June. She was previously with BIC/Koozie Group for about 10 years. All Velveeta cheese for Kraft-Heinz is made here in New Ulm, and that makes up about 1/3 of their production. They also make all the sliced cheese that is in Lunchables, sliced deli cheese, and cheese in large quantities for other food manufacturers. Kraft-Heinz employs about 400 people in New Ulm, and they are hiring! Darrin stressed that they are wanting Kraft-Heinz to be more involved and partner with the community, and see rejoining the Chamber as one way to get involved and give back. Welcome, and thank you for your investment in the Chamber!
