The Willkommen Committee stopped at The WELL to visit their new practitioner.  Bonnie Beranek Fortwengler recently joined the New Ulm WELLness Collective with her business, Meraki LegaCy Counseling Services.  The C in LegaCy is capitalized in memory of her nephew, Carter, who passed away last fall.   She’s been working in the social work field for over 20 years, and focused on mental health therapy the last 12.  Soon after joining The WELL, her clientele built up quickly as there are currently not enough mental health practitioners in the area.

Bonnie likes to work with children through adults; she loves working with a wide variety of ages.  She especially enjoys having fun sessions with the children as part of their healing.  She works with the B the Light organization also located at The WELL.  She enjoys being a volunteer in the community.
