New Director at United Way

Morgan Harpenau is the new director for United Way of the Brown County Area. Morgan comes from Sioux City, Iowa where she worked at the United Way.  She is originally from Albertville, MN and enjoyed the community of New Ulm while traveling to visit family. When the position came available she knew it would be a good fit. She has a degree from Briar Cliff University in Sioux City and originally worked for the local NBC television station as a producer.  Currently the United Way office is in the New Ulm Event Center and she says it is a great space for some of the in-house programs, such as the Project Lunchbox and the Imagination Library. Her plans for the future including building relationships in the community and servicing the needs of Brown County.
