Back in March, the Willkommen Committee stopped at the new Bumbelou store, located at 5 North Minnesota Street and celebrated the new store with a ribbon cutting ceremony. Then the COVID-19 pandemic hit and stores, including Bumbelou, closed. But Bumbelous is back open, and we want to take this time to recognize them as new members of the New Ulm Area Chamber of Commerce! Bumbelou is owned by New Ulm native Jenna Odegard and this is her second store, with the first location opening in Mankato. A dream that started out in her basement now consists of 9 women at the Mankato location who manufacture by hand all of Bumbelou’s products! The stores consist of children’s clothing sizes 0-6/7 with a small toy/gift section, as well as a section for moms. What’s even more great about this fabulous store, is that 10% of Bumbelou sales are donated to support children through sponsorships at Compassion International! Congratulations and welcome to New Ulm, Bumbelou!
