RCEF/New Ulm Area Chamber of Commerce Opens office in New Ulm.
Free Entrepreneurial Consulting in Brown County.

Effective immediately, RCEF is proud to announce the expansion of services for entrepreneurs in all of Brown County at no charge to the businesses.

The office of RCEF (Regional Center for Entrepreneurial Facilitation) located in Mankato, MN is a non-profit organization that provides free and confidential one-on-one business consulting, training and mentoring for small business owners and start up businesses. RCEF has oversight and is funded by DEED (Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development) and encompasses all counties in Region Nine. RCEF mentoring includes a vast array of solution topics to assist entrepreneurs and existing business owners.

Bryan Stading, Executive Director, is excited to announce a new collaboration between RCEF and the New Ulm Area Chamber of Commerce. This new venture of RCEF in Brown County will be known as RCEF: Brown County Catalyst.  Michael Looft, New Ulm Chamber President, is a positive supporter of the concept and has the enthusiastic backing of the chamber leadership. The New Ulm Chamber is providing free office space in their building located at 1 N Minnesota St.

Jim Jensen, long time businessman and entrepreneur will be the main point of contact at the New Ulm Area Chamber of Commerce. He has been serving clients for RCEF for several years in other communities on a limited time basis and is excited to be working in Brown County. He will have office hours on Tuesday and Thursday from 10am-4pm, and he is also available by appointment. Visiting area towns and meeting with Brown County business people will consume the remainder of his week. Jim wants every business to know that “Our mission is to restore the vibrancy of businesses in Brown County.
