Welcome to New Ulm, Calm Lake Floats! A new chamber member!
Calm Lake Floats

The Willkommen Committee of the New Ulm Area Chamber of Commerce recently visited Calm Lake Floats at 1010 Southridge Road, a new business and new chamber member in New Ulm owned by Virginia Suker-Moldan. Flotation Therapy (aka sensory deprivation) is something that is very close to Virginia. After her sister-in-law was diagnosed with an auto-immune disease she used it to reduce symptoms. Virginia found this therapy of value and decided to create a business out of this experience. Virginia made it her mission to become an expert in Float Therapy after experiencing its multiplier effects. Virginia trained with two innovators in the float therapy field in order to be fully knowledgeable about customer’s experience. The water is a 30% salt solution, using 200 gallons of water and 900 pounds of Epson salt. This creates a deeply relaxing anti-gravity environment, it’s even safe to fall asleep in! During the float you can pick your own music or enjoy silence. The entire vessel is self contained, heated, and self cleaning after each use. She is excited to bring a new therapy experience to the community.  Congratulations, and welcome, Calm Lake Floats!
