United Prairie celebrates 100 years!
United Prairie Bank

The Willkommen Committee of the New Ulm Area Chamber of Commerce recently helped United Prairie Bank celebrate 100 years of banking!  The New Ulm location originated as Klossner State Bank in 1919.  The United Prairie Bank organization was born in 1973 when former President, Jim Sneer, bought Farmers State Bank of Mountain Lake.  Some years later he began to acquire other banks and, in 1992, he changed their names to United Prairie Bank.  There are now 12 bank locations and many of them include investments and insurance.  The New Ulm location has a total of 65 years of experience between their 11 employees! They hosted an event in July to help celebrate their 100-year milestone and served 1919 Root Beer floats and hot dogs. They also did a Cash Mob at Sippet Coffee & Bagels where they gave out a total of $500! Congratulations on 100 years of banking, United Prairie Bank!
