Big Ideas needed bigger, better location!
Big Ideas New Ulm

The Willkommen Committee of the New Ulm Area Chamber of Commerce stopped at Big Ideas to check out their new space at 9 N Minnesota St, and to find out a little more about what Big Ideas is all about. It is co-owned by Mary Ann Christensen and Rebecca Fliszar. It is a non-profit organization for people to discover, learn and explore trades that they may have an interest in. It provides hands-on training to help career focus for all ranges of individuals. The hands-on classes are just the beginning; they also offer some virtual reality technology training for the different places they are partnered with. VR technology is a tool allowing Big Ideas potential growth opportunities for leading business sectors. They partner with businesses as well as high schools, they have had booths at the State Fair and other communities. Of you haven’t scoped out the Big Ideas trailer parked on Broadway you should, it’s their mobile learning studio. New Ulm has been a “test community,” so to speak, and they hope to eventually expand out of state. Congratulations, Big Ideas!
