The Willkommen Committee of the New Ulm Area Chamber of Commerce recently welcomed Darci Marzinske to her new position as the store manager of Treasure Haus! Originally from Taylors Falls, she’s lived in Courtland for the last 5 years and loves being a part of New Ulm! She was previously a teacher, then a stay-at-home mom. As the head manager, Darci handles everything from volunteers to office work and scheduling. There are only 3 paid floor managers and the rest of Treasure Haus is run completely by volunteers! On an average day you could expect anywhere from 6-8 volunteers. Each volunteer works in a specific area or duty. From sorting donations, washing them or setting them out on the floor for sale, they play a big role at the Treasure Haus. Darci expressed how she is pleased with the amount of donations and the quality of the items donated. All proceeds from Treasure Haus are donated to Minnesota Valley Lutheran High School, and they are approaching the $2 million dollar mark in donations to MVL! Congratulations and welcome, Darci!
