Welcome to MVL, Phil!
Phil Scriver, Minnesota Valley Lutheran High School

The Willkommen Committee of the New Ulm Area Chamber of Commerce stopped out at Minnesota Valley Lutheran High School to welcome Phil Scriver as the new Director of Mission Advancement! Phil was born in New Ulm but grew up in Wisconsin. He returned to New Ulm after high school to attend MLC. He was called to Milwaukee, WI after his time at MLC and also spent some time as a principal and teacher at an elementary school in Aurora, CO. His passion for Christian Education also turned into mission and teaching trips in Beijing, China, where he actually lived for a few years! Phil and his wife have 4 boys, ages 18 months to 9 years, and they are now back living in New Ulm and loving it. He’s excited to be a part of MVL and promote the mission, fundraising, resource development and publications. He also likes working with the churches and pastors in the area. MVL celebrates 40 years of operation this year and the enrollment projection is looking up for the next 5-10 years! Congratulations and welcome back to New Ulm, Phil!
