The New Ulm Area Chamber of Commerce Willkommen Committee stopped by the Best Western Plus to learn about some recent changes.  The building, which includes the Best Western Plus, Green Mill, and the New Ulm Conference Center, underwent a change in ownership in April. Bird Dog Hospitality recently bought out the previous parent company. Bird Dog Hospitality is based in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and owns eight other properties in the Midwest area. The business also owns golf courses and other resorts in addition to hotels. Under the new ownership, Erin Lafferty, who was previously general manager of the Best Western Plus only, will now manage all three businesses.  Lafferty is looking forward to some hotel upgrades and repairs happening this fall, and shared that the Green Mill has live music planned for the patio throughout the summer months.  The Willkommen Committee also met Assistant GM Caitlyn Sanow.  Caitlyn is a Tracy native, and has been here at the hotel for about 1 year.  Welcome and congratulations to all!
