The Willkommen Committee of the New Ulm Area Chamber of Commerce met with Jennifer Nelson and James Haviland to welcome the new New Ulm Craft & Vendor Events organization as a new chamber member! This 7 person-led group works with vendors and crafters to help keep the community shopping locally as well as bringing more people downtown. The group is working with the Downtown Action Team to put together a pop up market, and are still working on their other events like Spring Fling, Shop The Park, Oktoberfest Craft & Vendor Show, Halloween Hop, and their big holiday event, Holly Days with Santa! The board members include: James Haviland, Graffix Plus; Jennifer Nelson, Thirty One; Heather Ellanson, Young Living Essential Oils; Kimberly Hensch, Tupperware; Gwen Mack, Therapeutic Corn/Bean Bags for Lemon Drops (non-profit); Kelly Jo Anderson, Kelly’s Kraftwerx; and Amanda Andrews, Usborne Books. Their next event will be June 15th for Shop The Park at German Park. Congratulations, NUCVE!
