New business: The Pinball Place
The Pinball Place

On 827 North Broadway, many of the Willkommen Committee got their first glimpse of the inside of a new attraction to New Ulm, The Pinball Place owned by John and Phyllis Vorwerk.  John is a life-long avid collector of pinball machines and about 23 machines are highlighted at a time in the facility.  The Pinball Place is open on select nights. Usually Saturdays are 21 and over with Sunday afternoons being more of a family day with a discount on admission.  The Vorwerks are surprised that with their only advertising being on social media and the internet, about 50% of their visitors are from out of the New Ulm area including Mankato and Burnsville. The place is available for private rentals with certain restrictions. For more information, they can be reached at 507-276-7771 and like their “The Pinball Place” page on Facebook for updates.
