New Ulm’s New City Planner!
City Planner John Knisley

The Willkommen Committee of the New Ulm Area Chamber of Commerce welcomed John Knisley as the new City Planner of New Ulm! John was previously employed by Brown County, where he was Wetlands, Water Planning, & Recycling Administrator.  John grew up in New Ulm then moved to Bemidji for some time. He has a daughter at the University of North Dakota and is expecting a little boy in the spring! He and his wife operate an organic farm south of New Ulm. One thing he shared that he is planning on working on is the city code zoning regulations. Congratulations, John!
