The Willkommen Committee of the New Ulm Area Chamber of Commerce stopped at the New Ulm Public Library to welcome the library’s new director, Paulina Poplawska! She expressed how she loves the community involvement and how nice & quaint New Ulm feels. Paulina has over 11 years of public library experience. Most recently she was the branch manager in Holt, Michigan for the Capital Area District Libraries. She has worked in Kansas and Washington, and is from the Detriot Michigan area.  A new initiative for Paulina is to work with the area schools to distribute library cards to all middle school studnets.  Students will be able to access the e-books available through the library system, and have resources accessible online without actually having to go to the library. Congratulations and welcome, Paulina!
