The Willkommen Committee recently welcomed Ready To Ride Transportation as a new business in New Ulm and a new member of the New Ulm Area Chamber of Commerce. Ready To Ride offers medical transportation as well as taxi services, with three licensed vehicles for the New Ulm area. Brothers Abdulkadir, Barre, and Ali Barre had already been offering medical transportation in the area through Blue Cross/Blue Shield and other insurance referrals. They were approached to expand their services here a few months ago and are happy to fill the need for the community. Abdulkadir started the company in 2016 and they now service Faribault, Monticello, Mankato, and New Ulm. They are a family-owned and operated company with about 15 employees.
