The Willkommen Committee of the New Ulm Area Chamber of Commerce welcomed Ashley Aukes as the new Director for Bridging Brown County! Bridging Brown County is a non-profit organization focused on strengthening Brown County by bridging relationships of understanding and communication in the communities. It is funded by the cities of New Ulm & Sleepy Eye, Lake Hanska Township, and by their fundraising efforts. Ashley and her husband Chad have lived in New Ulm for 6 years, and have 3 children with one on the way. She was formerly the Communications Specialist for the Region 9 Development Commission for the last 5 years.  She is replacing Clarice Platz, who was the BBC Director for the past 10 years and is helping Ashley with the transition. Congratulations, Ashley!
