New Staff at Brown County Area United Way
United Way Brown County

The Willkommen Committee met at the Brown County United Way offices to welcome new staff members, Abigail Schwab and Sarah Lee. Abby is a New Ulm native and has loved working in Social Services! She became the full time director for the Underage Substance Abuse Coalition in June. She has been busy meeting with school officials and is working on getting more youth involvement. One of her latest projects was updating cigarette butt disposals so that underage kids couldn’t get cigarettes out of them.

Sarah Lee has been working part time with the Brown County Area United Way since November. She lives in Courtland with her husband and 4 sons. She is very happy to be at the Brown County Area United Way because finance is her passion, and that is what she gets to do every day!

The United Way of the Brown County Area works hard on a number of projects throughout the year. To keep updated on their projects, be sure to like them on Facebook! To learn more about their work or volunteer opportunities, visit their website here!

Welcome and congratulations Abby and Sarah!
