New Member: Jimmy John’s
Jeff and Janet Johnson, Jimmy Johns

The Willkommen Committee of the New Ulm Area Chamber of Commerce stopped by Jimmy John’s to meet the owners and welcome them as new Chamber Members!  Jeff and Janet Johnson both grew up in Janesville, and they owned a bar and restaurant there for 12 years.  They then moved to Red Wing where they owned and operated a Taco John’s for 17 years.  After taking a year off, they learned that Jimmy John’s was looking to expand in Minnesota, and was considering locations in Hutchinson, St. Peter, or New Ulm – we’re glad New Ulm was the chosen location!  Jimmy John’s places importance on the freshness of the food – all veggies are sliced daily, and the bread is baked throughout the day so it is never more than 4 hours old.  Jeff and Janet report that their sales are above projections here in New Ulm, and are happy to have the support of the community.  Order a “freaky fast” sandwich today!
