Sears Hometown Store at 1605 S Broadway in New Ulm has been remodeled, and the Willkommen Committee stopped by to check it out!  The remodel included new floor, new paint, and a new floor plan.  Owner Joel Garza started here in 2007 and took over the store in 2008.  He says he likes New Ulm and the small town feel, and he enjoys working with repeat customers to be sure they get the best deal possible.  In fact, Sears offers a lowest price guarantee; they will match any competitor’s prices.  Joel, who is originally from Texas, also owns the Willmar Sears Hometown Store. Joel and his wife live here in New Ulm and are expecting their first child mid-August.  Congratulations!
