The Willkommen Committee of the New Ulm Area Chamber of Commerce recently visited United Auto Station to celebrate their updated fuel branding and new features!

Owner Darren Marquardt purchased the station in September 2022 with the goal of keeping it local, and after several years of planning, major upgrades are now complete. United Auto Station has partnered with Marathon for new pumps, signage, and a modern point-of-sale system—replacing equipment that had long been patched together. Darren emphasized that while the branding has changed, the station remains independently operated, and he continues to set fuel prices with the community in mind.

Customers will notice several new offerings, including diesel fuel, gift cards, and an easy-to-use rewards program with savings of up to $1 per gallon through Marathon’s loyalty app. The updated pumps are also available 24/7.

Since the transition, United Auto Station has expanded its business services and now supports 30 monthly commercial accounts. United Auto’s repair shop has also been fully revitalized in recent years. The mechanical team offers tires, brakes, and a wide range of services Monday through Friday, and Saturdays until 1 p.m., accepting both appointments and walk-ins.
