The New Ulm Area Chamber of Commerce is pleased to welcome Amazon Hub Delivery as a new member!
Amazon Hub Delivery partners with small businesses in rural areas to help deliver Amazon packages — and to create new income opportunities for local entrepreneurs. April Jorgenson, the representative for the five-state region, shared that participating businesses can earn an average of $40,000–$50,000 per year by delivering packages within a 10-mile radius of their location. Deliveries can be made by business owners, employees, friends, or family members, and businesses are paid $2.50 per package upon delivery.
This program allows small businesses — whether home-based or brick-and-mortar — to make use of downtime in their day while supporting their communities. Amazon launched this initiative as a way to give back to small businesses that may have been impacted by “Big Amazon,” helping them benefit from the company’s vast delivery network.
