The Willkommen Committee of the New Ulm Area Chamber of Commerce recently visited Ahrens Heating & Air Conditioning to celebrate the business’s new owners, Mitch and Andy Kelley.

The father-and-son team also own Basement Solutions in Mankato and are excited to expand their work into New Ulm under their umbrella company, Breathe Easy, LLC. Their shared goal is improving indoor air quality through a variety of services including HVAC, radon mitigation and testing, moisture control, and even some remodeling.  Breathe Easy, LLC, started in radon mitigation in 2005 and has built a business focused on long-term, holistic solutions. Rather than immediately installing mitigation systems, the team takes a consultative approach to determine the best plan for each customer.

Because of local geology, New Ulm has some of the highest radon levels in the region, and Ahrens helps residents address the issue safely and efficiently—often in just one day. The Kelleys are passionate about educating the community on air quality and helping homeowners create healthier living spaces.
