The New Ulm Area Chamber of Commerce is pleased to welcome Ahrens Arbor Care as a new member! 

Owner and operator David Ahrens founded Ahrens Arbor Care with a passion for nature and a focus on advancing tree health through “total tree solutions.” Originally from Sherburn and now living outside of Hanska, David leads a three-person crew that provides services including planting, pruning, rigging, removal, soil testing, pest management, and tree-risk assessments. He is an ISA Certified Arborist (International Society of Arboriculture) and brings both expertise and care to every project.

A graduate of South Dakota State University in Wildlife and Fisheries Sciences, David worked as an Arborist for the city of Cheyenne, Wyoming, before returning to the area. His recent work includes a partnership with both Windom and Mountain Lake, helping to plant a diverse mix of trees as part of a grant-funded project. David emphasizes the importance of biodiversity and selecting species well-suited for Minnesota’s evolving climate zones.

Ahrens Arbor Care offers free estimates throughout Southwest Minnesota.
