The New Ulm Area Chamber of Commerce is pleased to welcome The 507 Outskirt as a new member of the Chamber!  The 507 Outskirt, named so as it is in the 507 area code and on the outskirts of New Ulm, is a mixed use space that doubles as a crafts and vaendor pop-up store as well as an event space for rent.  Having a location to sell her crafts had been a vision of owner Erika Hoffmann’s for years.  Originally the site of her relative’s business Hoffman Construction, Erika and her husband Joe remodeled the office building into a beautiful space capable of accommodating up to 50 people that includes a serving area, kitchenette, bathroom, and storage.

Erika had been selling her products at craft sales for years but wanted to expand and have a space to do “make and take” classes.  As she is still working full-time as a nurse, renting out the space for events and hosting pop ups for other vendors has gone very well.  Feedback she’s received mentions the privacy, affordability, and spacious parking as great assets.  Events that have been held in the building include corporate meetings, showers, bridal parties, even a wedding reception.  As Erika comments, it’s “something new and exciting every time.”

Located at 2232 S Broadway St, if you’re interested in learning more, find them on Facebook or email them at 507outskirt@gmail.com.

Congratulations to The 507 Outskirt, and thank you for your investment in New Ulm and the Chamber!
