Willkommen: New Ulm Medical Center – New Providers

The Willkommen Committee of the New Ulm Area Chamber of Commerce recently visited New Ulm Medical Center (NUMC) to welcome several new providers and introduce their new president.  

Dr. Kristina Fisher – Family Medicine physician. Originally from Buffalo, MN, she served 20 years in the Navy working in top-secret intelligence before pursuing medicine. She and her husband, also military, have three children and are excited to make New Ulm their home. 

Dr. Jordan Ramage – Orthopedic surgeon serving patients in New Ulm and Sleepy Eye. A native of Utah, he previously worked as a physical therapy assistant before entering medical school. He and his wife have four boys, and he will treat a wide range of orthopedic needs. 

Ashley Wieland – Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Ashley has worked at NUMC for 12 years as a registered nurse and recently completed her advanced degree. A New Ulm native, she is passionate about supporting mental health, especially for first responders, and is raising two sons with her family here. 

Dr. Amy Phillips (not in attendance) – Emergency Medicine physician who joined NUMC in June after providing care at Mercy and Unity Hospitals since 2018. She is originally from the Twin Cities and enjoys skiing, paddleboarding, and family time. 

Whitney Johnson (not in attendance) – New President of NUMC, in addition to Owatonna Hospital and Faribault Medical Center. With Allina Health since 2018, Whitney brings strong clinical and leadership experience. She and her husband have two children and enjoy spending time outdoors.
