The Willkommen Committee of the New Ulm Area Chamber of Commerce recently visited Jensen GMC to welcome two new sales managers, Cody Thompson and Jason Schmitz.
Cody Thompson was born and raised in New Ulm and returned to the area with his wife and family after college. He has been with Jensen GMC for five years and recently stepped into the role of sales manager. Cody oversees inventory, purchasing, and detail work, and also backs up his co-manager’s responsibilities when needed. He and his family live in Madelia.
Jason Schmitz, also a New Ulm native, lives in Searles and brings 14 years of automotive experience, including the last year and a half at Jensen GMC. He now manages the sales team, handles deals and appraisals, and works closely with customers. Jason has two children who are active in volleyball and baseball.
Together, Cody and Jason lead the sales department, which includes three consultants, while continuing to serve their own loyal customers. Jensen GMC is now featuring the 2026 lineup, with refreshed styling, standard safety features across all models, and new technology such as Super Cruise self-driving adaptive cruise control.
Located at 2525 S Broadway, if you’re interested in learning more, visit their website or call (507) 233-8810.
Congratulations, Cody and Jason!
