The Willkommen Committee of the New Ulm Area Chamber of Commerce recently visited Minnesota Valley Lutheran High School (MVLHS) to welcome new faculty members.  MVLHS serves 270 students from a 50-mile radius with 22 faculty and 10 staff. The school offers advanced classes through its “Lead the Way” program as well as PSEO opportunities.

Rev. Jon Ladner joins the team part-time to teach religion, assist with chapel, and fill in as needed. With more than 20 years of teaching experience, he also supports area congregations. 

Curt Kephart will be teaching computer applications part-time. He brings experience as both a minister in Wisconsin and as the former executive director of the St. James Chamber of Commerce. 

Micah Degjer, an MVLHS graduate, is the school’s new mathematics teacher and head baseball coach. He previously taught at Mankato West for 13 years and coached at Mankato East.
