The Willkommen Committee of the New Ulm Area Chamber of Commerce recently held a ribbon cutting at Weelborg Chevrolet to celebrate their major remodel and to welcome new General Manager, Steve Williams.

The remodel project was six years in the making and included a 10,000-square-foot expansion plus updates to the existing facility. The remodel – completed while the dealership remained open – added a new conference room, office space, conditioning bay, and expanded parts department, along with landscaping and parking lot improvements. To mark the occasion, Weelborg hosted an open house in early August featuring a car and bike roll-in and an air show with stunt performers.

New General Manager Steve Williams brings 18 years of experience in the auto industry, having worked his way up from sales to management. Originally from Spirit Lake, Iowa, Steve and his wife, a teacher, are excited to join the New Ulm community with their five children, all active in sports. He is looking forward to growing with the Weelborg team and working at a dealership that values giving back.
