Experience for yourself July 25-27
The grass is greener in New Ulm! We piloted an entire block of artificial turf at Oktoberfest 2023, and again during Crazy Days & Oktoberfest 2024 – and it was a hit, enjoyed by thousands. Our local businesses stepped up with sponsorship dollars, and we were able to raise funds to own the turf, so we can bring this mobile green space back to New Ulm for future events. We plan to bring it out twice in 2025 – once for Crazy Days (Jul 25-26) and again for Oktoberfest (Oct 3-4). Huge shout-out and thank you to the founding donors who made this possible!
The grass will be laid out on Friday, July 25th, on Minnesota Street from 1st North to Center Street. Friday evening, beginning at 4pm till 11pm and starting up again Saturday 12 – 11pm, will be the first New Ulm Polka Palooza.
