The Willkommen Committee recently visited New Ulm Country Club to welcome their new Cottonwood Grill General Manager Crystal Frederickson.  Crystal was born and raised in New Ulm and has been with the New Ulm Country Club for three and a half years.  With over 13 years of experience in the dining industry, she brings a passion for hospitality and community. Crystal and her husband were recently honored as the 2025 MN 4-H Northern Lights Volunteer Honorees.

As General Manager, Crystal oversees both the front kitchen and service staff – a fun and dedicated team of up to 20 people throughout the year. The Cottonwood Grill is open seven days a week, year-round (closed only on Thanksgiving and Christmas) from 11 a.m. until the last golfer leaves. Since stepping into her new role, Crystal has implemented a few thoughtful updates based on customer feedback and her own ideas – including the addition of desserts and flavored syrups for specialty drinks.
