The Willkommen Committee recently visited with Jim Prom of Spray Away Softwash to welcome him as a new member of the New Ulm Area Chamber. Jim has been working on houses for 40 years. He started out in construction and got into exterior cleaning 13 years ago. He is now a softwash instructor and can clean “everything from your roof to your curb,” including driveways, fencing, exterior windows (using a hydrophobic soap), and more. He works with Softwash Systems for equipment and training, but the Spray Away Softwash brand is all his own. He has a team of seven people and two trucks that make up this 5-star softwash company.
Softwash is a non-abrasive method of exterior cleaning that uses diluted chemicals Jim lovingly calls “skunk juice” to wash off a variety of stains in a custom cocktail designed specifically for each job. Spray Away Softwash rinses away the chemicals, which break down in 72 hours, re-feeds any affected plants with their own fertilizer, and warranties their cleaning services for five years. Free consultations are available.
Located at 100 Warren Street in Mankato, if you’re interested in learning more, visit www.spraymyroof.com or call (507) 381-4597. Thank you, Spray Away Softwash, for choosing to join the Chamber!
