The Willkommen Committee recently stopped by Habilitative Services – Sevita to celebrate their new location at 1226 1/2 S Broadway Street in New Ulm. Sevita provides personalized support for adults with mental health needs and developmental disabilities. With nine group homes across the region, one independent living house, and in-home care services, they meet clients where they’re at – offering as much assistance as needed to help them live their best lives. Each location is staffed 24/7 and includes a company van to transport clients to appointments. Beyond daily care, Habilitative Services – Sevita is actively involved in advocacy and legislative efforts to support the individuals they serve.

Their approach to staffing is just as people-centered. They focus on hiring individuals with “the right heart,” not necessarily a degree, and offer thorough training and career growth opportunities. The longevity of their current staff speaks to the strong culture of care and compassion they’ve built. Now enjoying increased visibility in their new Broadway location, Sevita is proud to remain in New Ulm – a community they say has “a unique approach to helping people.”
