The Willkommen Committee recently visited with Palmer Bus Service to welcome them as a new member of the New Ulm Area Chamber of Commerce.  Kathy Anderson is the Southern Minnesota Recruiter for Palmer and is the editor of their ‘The Morning Route’ podcast which offers insights on the school bus industry.  Palmer Bus Service is Minnesota’s largest privately owned contractor and works strictly with schools (no charter buses).  Palmer has approximately one thousand units between buses and vans and has over 1,400 employees.  Locally, they are based at Minnesota Valley Lutheran High School where Ray Vulcan is the site manager, and they are currently looking for more drivers.  It can be a great option for stay-at-home parents, college students, and coaches.  Palmer offers training and testing for any new and current employees.
