The Willkommen Committee recently held a Ribbon Cutting for Bricks & Minifigs, a new Chamber Member and new business located in Mankato. Greta Alms is the owner of this new franchise, which specializes in buying, selling, and trading LEGO products. She got into it because she has two small children who love LEGOs, and she loved the idea of cyclical recycling and having toys that are “new for the next person.” Bricks & Minifigs also has a great space for parties, including a derby race track where guests can put together cars and race on a track with official timers, and mini-figurines where guests can make legos that look like themselves. As Greta says, “It’s all about being creative.” At Bricks & Minifigs, not only do they sell new items, they also buy or trade used sets and individual legos. Families or individuals can bring in used blocks or sets they are no longer using to pass along to the next user. Bricks & Minifigs will take blocks in any condition but will pay more for sets that are pre-built.
Located at 1880 Tailwind Drive in Mankato, if you’re interested in learning more, visit bricksandminifigs.com/mankato-mn or call (651) 747-7155. Thank you, Bricks & Minifigs, for choosing to join the New Ulm Chamber!
